Route optimisation for APAC → Singapore path

Reweighted BGP preferences on the Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Sydney nodes to reduce average RTT to Equinix SG1 by 3–6 ms. The previous path was routing through a shared IX hop that added unnecessary queuing during the Asia open. New path peers directly into SG1 transit. All APAC sessions migrated live with no disconnects.

Incident: brief packet loss on Singapore node

A BGP route withdrawal upstream of Equinix SG1 caused a 3-minute period of elevated packet loss on the Singapore node. Automatic failover activated within 47 seconds; affected sessions migrated to the assigned backup node. Transit provider confirmed root cause and restored the original path. See the status page for the full incident record.

2026-04-12 Portal

Added cancellation grace period indicator

The portal dashboard now shows a clear grace period countdown when a subscription is cancelled mid-cycle. Previously, cancellation confirmation emails described the access end date but the portal showed no in-app indicator. The new banner appears immediately on cancellation and shows the exact date and time access expires. No change to billing behaviour.

New node: Equinix AM3, Amsterdam

The Amsterdam node at Equinix AM3 is now live. This is the twelfth node in the network and the second European location alongside London LON1. Equinix AM3 sits on the AMS-IX peering fabric, which gives direct routes to most European broker infrastructure. Accounts in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Nordics are auto-assigned AM3 as their primary or backup based on latency scoring. Existing accounts can request a node reassignment from the portal.

MT5 compatibility pass for build 4580

MetaQuotes released MT5 build 4580 with updated proxy handshake behaviour. Earlier builds used a non-standard CONNECT sequence that our relay accommodated with a legacy path. Build 4580 aligns with RFC 7235 and works cleanly through the standard relay path. Testing confirmed no degradation on MT4 build 1420, cTrader 5.0, or NinjaTrader 8. No action needed from existing users.

Planned maintenance — Sydney SY4 complete

12-minute maintenance window on the Sydney node completed without incident. Kernel updated to 6.8.4 LTS; conntrack table parameters retuned following the April route optimisation data. All sessions migrated to backup node during the window and returned to primary on completion. See the status page for details.

Published prop firm network guide

New guide: Prop firm network guide. Covers what FTMO, Topstep, and similar firms actually check at payout — IP collision policy, shared-IP risk, dedicated IP timeline, and what to do if you're in a challenge now. This is the honest version, including the cases where TradersProxy is not the right fit.

Global route optimisation push

Pushed updated routing weights to all 11 nodes following 6 weeks of EWMA latency data collection. Key improvements: London-to-NY path reduced by 8 ms average RTT by switching transit providers on the transatlantic leg; Singapore-to-Sydney path tightened by 4 ms by preferring PIPE Networks over the previous Southern Cross Cable route. Zero downtime deployment using rolling node updates.

Added cTrader 5.0 support for proxy field

cTrader 5.0 moved the proxy configuration field from the advanced settings menu to a dedicated connection settings panel. Updated setup guides to reflect the new location. Also confirmed that the SOCKS5 implementation in cTrader 5.0 correctly handles long-lived sessions without the keepalive issue present in 4.x builds. cTrader users on 4.x are encouraged to upgrade.

Portal: fixed occasional login redirect loop

A race condition in the portal's session token refresh logic was causing roughly 3% of logins to enter a redirect loop instead of landing on the dashboard. The issue surfaced when the auth token expired between the initial redirect and the callback. Fixed by reordering the token validation check and adding a loop-detection cookie with a 10-second TTL. No account data was affected.

TCP Fast Open enabled on all nodes

TCP Fast Open (TFO) is now enabled network-wide. TFO allows reconnecting sessions to begin sending data on the initial SYN packet rather than waiting for the full three-way handshake. For mobile users switching back to MT4 or MT5 from another app, this reduces reconnect time by approximately 180–400 ms depending on carrier round-trip. Requires no configuration change from existing users; the improvement applies automatically.

Dark mode toggle

The client portal now respects your system dark mode preference and includes a manual override toggle in the top navigation bar. Previously the portal was light-mode only. The dark theme uses the same design token system as the marketing site for visual consistency. Preference is stored in localStorage and persists across sessions.

NinjaTrader 8 compatibility verified

Completed a full compatibility pass for NinjaTrader 8 across all current node regions. NT8's SOCKS5 implementation has a non-standard timeout on idle connections; added a relay-side keepalive response tuned to NT8's idle detection interval so sessions no longer drop after 15 minutes of inactivity without an open chart. Updated the setup guide with NT8-specific configuration instructions.

The changelog does more than list releases. It shows the kind of work we prioritize, the pace we ship at, and whether the product is getting sharper over time. That matters for trust because a buyer can see the service evolve in public instead of taking a vague promise on faith.
